I am Jason. I’ve been writing since I was 18 (before that even!). Welcome to my website, I hope you find comfort here.

My domain name is my real name. You may notice the name “Grunn” attached to some of my short stories. It was my pen name, because only two people in my entire life who weren’t immediate family or friends could pronounce “Gwozd” right on the first try. From a quick Wikipedia search, the name “Grunn” doesn’t have much significant meaning, only that it’s a certain region in the Netherlands. It’s also used in Magic The Gathering lore, a card game, something you’ll notice if you do a quick google search.

How’d I get it? I used a random pen name generator. It was the only name that wasn’t some obscure combination of “Megatron” and “Mantis Shrimp.” It’s close to the Irish name “Gunn,” but now I go by my real title.
